Located on Twin Pine Island, in the heart of Minnitaki Lake, which is renowned for its dozens of uninhabited sand beaches, vast wilderness and abundant fish and wildlife. Minnitaki Lake is approximately 45,000 acres separated into numerous sheltered arms and bays along with hundreds of beautiful islands.
Only about 1% of all the surrounding shoreline, including islands, is privately owned, the remaining is government land. There is no road directly into Minnitaki. All our cabins are boat accessible from our base located in Souix Lookout. This is as good as it gets and there is no need to fly.
Our cabins will hold up to 12 people and are equipped with solar electric lights, hot and cold running water , wood stove heating, propane fridge and stove and hot showers. At northern Sunrise our log cabins provide you with a view where you can watch the sunrise through the front windows and see it set through the back.
The fishing is tremendous! Most abundant are Northern Pike, Walleye, Whitefish, Yellow Perch and Small Mouth Bass. Lake Trout and Muskies round out the fare of available sport fish. If you're looking for independence and seclusion, fun fishing and a stimulating stay in Ontario's wilderness, our unique island could be your finest discovery.
